The debate around gender identity, kids, and women's rights has been raging in the public sphere, yet Canada has continued to ignore the concerns brought forward by medical professionals, parents, and women.

The world has at last caught on to danger gender identity ideology poses to kids, as "gender medicine" has been revealed to be experimental, dangerous, and rushed — pushed on minors who don't understand the consequences and can't consent to the destruction of their bodies and futures. The WPATH Files in the US and the Cass Report in the UK made this undeniably clear, yet the Canadian government has refused limit puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and related surgeries for minors.

Moreover, a debate is raging in the public sphere about males competing as "female" in sport, from the amateur level all the way up to the Olympics. Can we save women's sport? Can we have these conversations in Canada? Can Canadians, at last, be heard on these issues?

On Saturday, September 14th, Vancouver Island Speaks! returns to B.C.'s capital to have the conversation the Canadian media, government, and progressives refuse to have. For years, many of us have fought to have these conversations and been cancelled, censored, threatened, libeled, and protested at every turn. But when kids' lives, women's rights, our free speech, and the truth is at stake, we cannot allow our voices to be silenced.

Please join us for this important discussion in Victoria, B.C.

The event will be ticketed, featuring a panel discussion followed by a Q&A. We will be hosting a private meet and greet/cocktail hour after the panel event, from 8:00PM-9:30PM, so guests who purchase VIP tickets can meet the panelists, connect, have a drink, a snack, socialize, and relax.

These events are a great way to connect with like-minded people in your community — don't miss out! Tickets are limited, so get yours today.

Bryony Dixon is a British born single mother, cancelled from her role as Artistic Managing Producer of the Nanaimo Fringe Festival for her views on gender. She remains committed to championing free expression — particularly addressing taboo subjects having a fundamental impact on our social fabric — in her new role with US think tank, Civilization Works.

Linda Blade holds a PhD in Kinesiology, is a former Canadian Champion (1986) in Track and Field and a long-time sport-performance coach who has trained hundreds of athletes in seven countries, from beginner to elite, in over 15 different sports. As president of Athletics Alberta (2014-2023), she established sex-based eligibility guidelines. In 2021, Linda collaborated with Canadian journalist Barbara Kay (2021) in writing the book, UNSPORTING: How Trans activism and Science Denial are Destroying Sport. As founding member of the International Consortium on Female Sport (ICFS), launched in January 2023, Linda is committed to ongoing advocacy that focuses on safety and fairness for female athletes across the globe.

Magdalena Huston got caught up in the "trans cult" as a young woman living in Vancouver, changing her pronouns to "they/them" before moving forward towards a mastectomy. Now 29 years old, it has been two and a half years since she began her journey back to herself, preferring not to use the term “detransitioner.” Magdalena now specializes in holistic healing and wellness and looks to the butterfly as a symbol of her journey, representing metamorphosis, which is deeply meaningful to her. She is passionate about writing, cooking, and the truth, using her voice to share it.

Meghan Murphy is a Canadian writer and podcaster. She founded Feminist Current in 2012, Canada's first and only feminist website and podcast to challenge gender identity ideology and fight for women's same-sex spaces at the time. In 2017, Meghan testified against Bill C-16, Canada's gender identity legislation, and was among the first to speak out against gender identity ideology in Canada. She is a fierce advocate for women, free speech, and the constitutional rights of Canadians. She was famously banned from Twitter (now X) for four years in 2019 after saying "men aren't women" and referring to a male predator as "he." She has since traveled the world, warning of the dangers of gender identity ideology. In 2021, Meghan launched a new podcast, The Same Drugs. Find her writing at Spiked, The Spectator, Unherd, and Substack.

Mia Hughes is an Ottawa-based journalist and researcher for Michael Shellenberger's nonprofit, Civilization Works. She is the author of the WPATH Files, an investigative report based on leaked internal communications from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health that revealed the medical mistreatment of children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults in gender clinics.

This event will be moderated by Stuart Parker, former Green Party leader, former NDP strategist, former history professor and president of Los Altos Institute.
